Book #2: An action packed story of a Dark Angel who hunts demons in her dreams. Certainly no sweet dreams for her. Loved it!

Jaime Connor returns in book two. As she makes her way to Ireland on an airplane, in order to escape her past, she finds a demon on the same flight. Jaime, while trying to protect her unborn child within her womb, must now risk everything and do battle with it. She not only has the demon to contend with but the suspicious death of another lands her in detainment by the law after she deplanes. To top it off, she is still suffering from the painful and devastating betrayal of her husband. What will happen to Jaime? Will she survive? Will her baby survive the battle that she must engage in and will she be able to forgive her husband, who she desperately needs in her fight to protect the people? All could be lost, if she fails. The author entertains the thought, through her writing, that there are angels among us and those angels will go to any lengths to protect us from harm; even if demons show up in our dreams. The plot is filled with action packed scenes, superbly crafted by B. Hughes-Millman; with a writing style that pulls you in close so you can experience each and every swipe of the blade while also enabling the reader to visualize her characters surroundings: Taking advantage, I swing my swords and slice the throats of the two perplexed assailants. Blood drains into their clothing like deep red ink in the dark. / There are so many pink dresses, baby sheets, rattles, and stuffed animals, it looks like a Pepto-Bismol factory exploded in our apartment. The introduction of the possibility of a new born dark angel had me intrigued from the beginning of the story and this alone kept me turning the pages. Resurrection's Angel held my interest with good plot twists and there were some well placed surprises too. I loved it!
